Does Exchange work offline?
Yes. Exchange includes rates for 166 currencies and can use newer rates already stored on your device. Offline rates are not live quotes. Check the rate date shown in the converter before relying on a result.
Why is the rate different from my bank’s?
Exchange shows indicative rates. Banks, card issuers, and currency exchange services may apply their own rates, spreads, and fees. Check with your provider for the amount you will actually pay or receive.
Why have my rates not updated?
Make sure your iPhone has an internet connection, then open Exchange. Open More → Settings → Rates to see “Last rates update” and any update error. The app retries automatically; there is no manual refresh button. Updates depend on service availability, device verification, and iOS scheduling. Stored rates remain usable if a refresh is unavailable.
How do I add a widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, choose Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Exchange. Pick a rates or calculator widget. In Exchange, open More → Settings → Widget pairs to choose pairs for the rates widgets; use the converter pair setting for the calculator widget.
How does Minimalistic Trio work?
Open More → Design → Minimalistic Trio. Enter one source amount to see three target currencies at once. Tap a target currency to change it; your choices are saved on your device. To save a single-pair calculation, switch to Minimalistic, Tactile Instrument, or Swiss Editorial and use the bookmark control.
Where are my saved calculations?
In Minimalistic, Tactile Instrument, or Swiss Editorial, tap the bookmark control to save a valid conversion. Open More → Saved calculations to see or delete saved entries. Each entry keeps its original amounts, rate, and date, even when rates later change.
How do I change the design or preferred currency?
Open More → Design to choose Minimalistic, Minimalistic Trio, Tactile Instrument, or Swiss Editorial. Open More → Settings to change your preferred currency. Changing designs keeps your current calculation.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual entries in More → Saved calculations. Deleting the app removes its local app data, although device backups and iOS Keychain items may remain. For questions about backend verification records or support messages, email us. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Which devices and languages are supported?
Exchange requires an iPhone running iOS 18 or later. It supports English, Spanish, French, German, and Simplified Chinese. The app follows your iOS app-language preference and regional number formatting.
